This weekend will be the final group official visit weekend of June and a Florida standout has announced his intentions of traveling to Pittsburgh.

2022 3-star wide receiver Camden Brown (St. Thomas Aquinas HS in Fort Lauderdale, Florida) will make his first official visit to Pitt. Currently, Brown (6-foot-4, 205-pounds) holds offers from Pitt, Auburn, Cincinnati, Indiana, Kentucky, Memphis, Ole Miss, Syracuse and Virginia.

Pittsburgh Sports Now spoke on Tuesday evening with Brown following his decision to visit and told us that a trio of Panther assistants have been pursuing him- Charlie Partridge, Mark Whipple and Brennan Marion.

“One big reason I’m visiting is the love that the Pitt coaches have shown me, that’s important,” said Brown. “The head coach is really excited that I’m coming on the visit. I’ve been talking with Coach Partridge, Coach Whipple and Coach Marion have been talking and building our relationship.”

“They believe that I’d be a great fit in their receivers group and think I’m a Pitt type of receiver. I have great size and I’m someone that carries himself well on and off the field. I’m a player that can go up and get the ball, plus I can be physical and I always find a way to get open.”

During the month of June, Brown has made unofficial visits to Auburn, Texas A&M, Georgia and Central Florida but this will be his first official visit. Originally, he was scheduled to be in Auburn this weekend for an official visit but that had to be rescheduled. Brown tells Pittsburgh Sports Now that after the dead period in July, he intends to make official visits at Auburn, Ole Miss and Georgia.
