Tyreese Fearbry, the top uncommitted local player in the Class of 2022, committed to Kentucky on Saturday, over offers from Pitt, Penn State, West Virginia and others.
A consensus four-star defensive end from Perry Traditional Academy, Fearbry had previously committed to Penn State before backing away from his commitment this summer.
The 6-foot-5, 225-pound edge rusher prospect was in attendance for Pitt’s 44-41 loss to Western Michigan on Saturday, and announced his commitment shortly after the game.
He told Pittsburgh Sports Now on Friday, after Perry’s loss to USO at Cupples Stadium on the South Side, that he had been in the most contact with Tennessee as of late.
Fearbry joins Central Catholic DT Donovan Hinish (Notre Dame), Central Valley DT Sean FitzSimmons (Pitt), Gateway WR Patrick Body (Cincinnati), Penn-Trafford QB Cade Yacamelli (Wisconsin) and Pine-Richland LB Jeremiah Hasley (Duke) as local players in the Class of 2022 that have committed to Power Five programs.
Why would he want to [play for Narduzzi in a half empty stadium. I was there 25000 tops. Wait until next week. Pitt can play the game at CMU’s stadium.
LOL True statement, Narduzzi is losing the fan base. People are tired of mediocre Football Coached by a mediocre, egotistical charlatan.
Losing? Lost.
Yeah it won’t be pretty
attends the game, commits elsewhere immediately afterwards. Do you blame him? lol
Inviting a prospect to that game on Saturday was like inviting a new tenant to move in on the day that building collapsed in Florida.
