On Saturday, one of Pitt’s top targets of the summer, Ryan Dunn, chose to commit to Tony Bennett and Virginia.
Prior to his commitment, the 6-foot-6 Dunn took official visits to Pitt, Virginia, and Minnesota. After telling Pittsburgh Sports Now that he preferred Virginia’s campus setting over Pitt’s city setting, the commitment to Virginia was fairly expected.
Pitt now looks to Daniel Skillings, another wing who recently visited, as its top target. While his commitment timeline is still unknown, Skillings recently visited NC State, Pitt, and Cincinnati, and has another visit to Miami planned for Sept. 24.
