Pitt Commit Judah Mintz to Take Second Official Visit to Pitt

Starting on Thursday, Pitt Commit Judah Mintz will be taking his second official visit to Pittsburgh, a source close to the program told Pittsburgh Sports Now.

Mintz visited Pitt for the first time back in early June, right when prospects could start visiting schools once again.

“My favorite part was meeting the coaches,” Mintz told Pittsburgh Sports Now after the initial visit. “It was really nice to see them in person. You get a feel for people over the phone and stuff, but meeting people in person and being able to spend time with them, it’s just a lot different. Their staff is really cool. My family really got along with them.”

Just two weeks after the visit, Mintz made Pitt his home and committed to the Panthers. In between the visit and his commitment, he took trips to Georgetown and Penn State, but it did not take long for him to realize that Pitt was his home.

After committing to Pitt, Mintz had an excellent summer leading his Team Durant squad to a successful EYBL season and run at Peach Jam.

At Peach Jam, Mintz averaged 22.4 points per game, which was good for second-most out of all players.
