PITTSBURGH — Pitt wide receiver Jordan Addison entered concussion protocol at the start of the third quarter in No. 23 Pitt’s game against Clemson, according to a report by Josh Rowntree of the Pitt Radio Network.
Addison absorbed a big hit on a sideline catch midway through the second quarter, but stayed in the game.
When he left the game, Addison had five catches for 83 yards and a touchdown. Addison, the Panthers leading wideout, has 34 receptions for 586 yards and nine touchdowns this season.
Graduate transfer Melquise Stovall, Addison’s chief back-up, is slated for a bigger role if Addison is unable to return.
