Todd McShay has released his 2022 NFL Draft rankings for the Top 32 prospects. One of the players on that list is Pitt senior quarterback Kenny Pickett, who ranked 27th on McShay’s list.

Pickett is one of four quarterbacks to be listed on the top 32 prospect list as Liberty’s Malik Willis and Ole Miss’ Matt Corrall rank ahead of the Panther signal-caller at sixth and 21st respectively, and Cincinnati’s Desmond Riddler who is ranked 32nd.

The senior gunslinger from Oakhurst, New Jersey has garnered national attention due to his performance this season, where he has thrown for 2,236 yards and a touchdown to interception ratio of 23/1. He has also thrown for over 300 yards four out of the seven games so far this season.

This season has been Pickett’s best season as a Panther, already surpassing his career-high in passing touchdowns of (13), while on pace to surpass his career-high in passing yards. As of now, he is averaging around 320 yards a game and with five games remaining on the schedule, he is well within reach to surpass his total of 3,098 yards set back in 2019.

Pickett has led the Panthers to their first 3-0 start in conference play since 2015. The Panthers are gearing up for their game this weekend on Saturday at Heinz Field against the Miami Hurricanes at Noon.
