Whether it was nerves or supreme parity throughout the sport, upsets were the name of the game in Week 10 of the 2021 college football season.
Eight teams that were placed in the initial College Football Playoffs Top 25 rankings last Tuesday found themselves on the wrong end of the scoreboard on Saturday. No. 3 Michigan State, No. 9 Wake Forest, No. 12 Baylor, No. 13 Auburn, No. 17 Mississippi State, No. 18 Kentucky, No. 20 Minnesota and No. 23 Fresno State were all upset.
As a result of that madness, the playoff committee will no doubt be working overtime to come up with a new Top 25 rankings.
Although the exact rankings won’t be revealed until Tuesday night, we’re going to give you our thoughts on what our rankings would look like if we had a vote.
