Pitt has gone after plenty of recruits in the 2022 class, but does not have any commits to show for its efforts.

After Judah Mintz committed to the Panthers in the summer, Pitt looked to one of his AAU teammates, Darren Buchanan, to become its future wing and play alongside Mintz.

Buchanan took two visits, one unofficial and one official, to Pitt. He was clearly one of the Panthers’ top targets at the position after they missed out on guys like Ryan Dunn, Daniel Skillings, Dom Barlow, and more.

After Mintz de-committed in the fall, Buchanan said that the de-commitment would not affect his decision. But now, months later, where does his recruitment stand?
