Brennan Marion leaving Pitt for Texas was undoubtedly big news for Pitt football as they closed out their 2021 season, due to the fact that many around the program believed he was an excellent coach and helped the offense grow a great deal.

In addition to his on-field coaching efforts, Marion is also known as an impressive recruiter, and while he was only at Pitt for one year, he was already developing plenty of solid relationships with recruits in the 2023 class, including local standout Rodney Gallagher.
