Twitter Reaction to Pitt’s Third Straight ACC Win

Anyone that’s been paying attention lately can see that the Pitt Men’s basketball team is making progress. Although it may not be at the level at which everyone wanted, the team is getting better.

That progress continued tonight as Jeff Capel’s team held off a late charge by North Carolina to pick up their 3rd straight ACC win.

At least for now, Pitt fans were happy after the Panthers biggest win of the season.

I really like these Pitt kids. Many times this year they could have quit, and past Pitt teams with more talent did quit. But these guys have heart.

Credit where credit is due, that was a great win. UNC is an underperforming but tournament level team loaded with talent. Capel deserves some credit for the 3 game win streak.

Needless to say, what a win. Capel now has the team surging late in the year, something he hasn’t ever done here at Pitt. They just put up their best game of the year tonight.
