Robinson would be an ideal pass rushing defensive end in Charlie Partridge’s system. The 6’3″, 230-pound athlete currently holds offers from Pitt, Boston College, Duke, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Northwestern, Oklahoma, Oregon, Penn State, South Carolina, Stanford, Tennessee, Virginia, Virginia Tech and West Virginia. Robinson received his Pitt offer from Andre Powell back on April 29 of 2021.

Pittsburgh Sports Now caught up with Robinson on Tuesday morning to get his thoughts on making another trip to see the ACC Champions.

“The first time I went to Pittsburgh was for a Junior Day and I was very surprised,” said Robinson. “It had a great atmosphere and I loved how it has a city feel too. With me growing up near Baltimore, I am used to a city feel so it would become a nice transition. But one thing that I am hoping to see this time is the culture of the program. Are the coaches all hands on? Are the players cool with each other? I’m also interested in watching their practices and staying in their meetings to see if it is a real fit for me. I am hoping that this visit can answer a lot of my questions that I still have and check some boxes for me and my family.”

Robinson is the second 4-star recruit from Maryland visiting Pitt on Saturday.
