The native of Chillicothe, Ohio is one of the fastest rising and most talented offensive players in the country. 247Sports currently ranks Galloway as the No. 4 sophomore tight end and the No. 80 overall recruit in the nation.

Rivals.com’s Clint Cosgrove recently said this about Galloway — one of five potential “five-star prospects” from the Midwest.

At this stage of his recruitment, Galloway holds offers from Pitt, Cincinnati, Indiana, Kentucky, LSU, Michigan, Michigan State, Purdue, Rutgers, Vanderbilt and West Virginia. Galloway received his Pitt offer from Ryan Manalac back on January 20.

Galloway spoke with Pittsburgh Sports Now before his visit to Pitt on Thursday.

“I am focused on just building my connection with the staff and overall just learning more about the program,” said Galloway. “I’m going into this visit really open-minded and expecting nothing but greatness from this program and staff.

“My thoughts on Pitt are definitely positive after the season they had last year, and their NFL production is something I’m eyeing,” Galloway said. “Along with the way they have been recruiting, I think they will have more success to come.”

Following this trip to Pittsburgh, Galloway will make upcoming visits to Virginia Tech (April 12), Rutgers (April 16), Arkansas (April 21) and Florida (April 26).
