Die-Hards: Freshman Texas QB Max Gerlich In Town, Looking Forward To Impressing Pitt Coaches

Published

The Pitt Panther football program will be hosting hundreds of players this weekend for their second weekend of prospect camps.

A great majority of these players don’t hold offers from Pitt as they’ll be looking to catch the eye of the Pitt staff along with numerous other college coaching staffs.

However, some of the players working out on the South Side do have offers from Pitt, including freshman quarterback Max Gerlich from Del Valle, Texas. Gerlich received his offer from Pitt in May and wanted to make a visit to Pittsburgh to personally tour the facilities and continue to build his relationship with the staff.

Pittsburgh Sports Now spoke with Gerlich on Friday, who decided to travel to Pittsburgh a couple days before the camp in order to have some time to see all of the city.
