Pitt Extends First College Offer to 2027 Las Vegas QB Furian Inferrera

It’s rare for colleges to offer middle schoolers, although it’s becoming increasingly more common as the industry of recruiting continues to grow, but it’s also rare for seventh graders to stand at 6-foot-3, 180 pounds.

2027 quarterback Furian Inferrera from Game Changers Academy in Las Vegas, Nevada visited Pittsburgh on Saturday, along with hundreds of other prospects for Pitt’s Rising Stars II camp, and after a conversation with head Pat Narduzzi, he picked up his first college offer.

QB Hit List rates Inferrera as the top-ranked pro-style quarterback in the class of 2027, which is obviously a long, long way off, and with his blend of size and strength this early in the recruiting process, he’s definitely a prospect to watch.

“Furian has excellent size for a 2027 Pro Style QB at 6’3” 178 lbs,” QHL’s evaluation said. “A playmaker on the field. Able to take over a game with his play. He’s a beast on the field. A strong armed QB who shows good toughness in the pocket and while on the run.”

Inferrera was able to meet with offensive coordinator Frank CIgnetti Jr., assistant quarterbacks coach Jon DiBiaso and quarterback Kedon Slovis, and he clearly had a good conversation with Narduzzi.

It’s been a busy spring for Inferrera already as he’s camped at the Quarterback Retreat, the SHOW by NextGen, and the FBU Regionals, among others.

With his first offer from Pitt now in the books, he’ll likely continue to rake in official offers from schools around the country, and Pitt will be the first to into the fray for a potential superstar recruit down the line.

Offering a 7th grade child (12yr old?!) seems kind of ridiculous since so much can, and will likely, change in 5-years. One has to wonder if college football will eventually start offering kids in diapers…

All the top Qbs in middle school end up being very big time players in college. Such as Bryce young, jt Daniels, Trevor Lawrence, DJ Uiagalelei, Spencer rattler, Jayden Daniels etc there too much to list. Also look on YouTube they have all those guys as 7th and 8th graders getting offers. Remember now they are analyzed by nfl and college Qb coaches . The Qbs offered scholarships in middle school end up making to college and being the best out of there classes when they graduate. That’s why the landscape is changing and going after them younger. It’s harder… Read more »

Also forgot to mention he competed against high schoolers and is the top Qb in the nation. He competed against them and looked that much better than them being 3 years younger. He won multiple national championship competition and he plays on the top youth football team in the country. Which is the OG Ducks. Thanks again.

Bro you should be the one wearing your acting like the baby hear! Just because your son did not make it in life, does not mean you shoot down another kid! Act like a grownup or should you go to kindergarten? Please stop saying rude things!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
