Duquesne to Host Montana in Non-Conference Matchup

The Duquesne Dukes have added another game to their non-conference schedule.

As first reported by Rocco Miller, Duquesne will host the Montana Grizzlies of the Big Sky in a non-conference matchup in November.

The Grizzlies finished last season 18-14 (11-9 Big Sky). Travis DeCuire’s squad ranked as the No. 248 team in the nation, per Kenpom.com, and averaged 72.2 points per game. Montana returns leading scorer and 6-foot-10 Australian forward Josh Bannan, who averaged 15.1 points and 8.2 rebounds per game.

The Dukes’ known non-conference opponents are listed below.

Montana: Finished last season with an 18-14 record.

Marshall: Finished last season with a 12-21 record.

DePaul: Finished last season with a 15-16 record.

Winthrop: Finished last season with a 23-9 (1st Place in the Big South Conference).

Ball State: Finished last season with a 14-17 record.

North Florida: Finished last season with an 11-20 record.

UC Santa Barbara: Finished last season with a 17-11 record.

South Carolina State: Finished last season with a 15-16 record.

Alabama State: Finished last season with a 9-21 record.

Neutral Site Opponent:

Colgate: Finished last season with a 23-12 record. Won the Patriot League Championship and qualified for the NCAA Tournament.

AWAY GAME:

Kentucky: Finished last season with a 26-8 record. Qualified for the NCAA Tournament.
