Upon the conclusion of Pitt’s current two-game road trip, Syracuse will make the trip to Acrisure Stadium for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff on Nov. 5.

The next installment of one of Pitt’s longest-running series will be broadcast on ACC Network, with a crew to be announced at a later date. It will serve as Pitt’s third 3:30 p.m. matchup of the season.

Syracuse is in the midst of one of its best seasons in recent memory, ranked as the 16th team in the country in Monday’s Week 9 AP Poll. Despite a one-score loss to Clemson last week, Syracuse hasn’t lost a game this season.

With wins over Louisville, Virginia and North Carolina State in the ACC and non-conference wins over Wagner, Connecticut and Purdue, Syracuse is 6-1 entering a matchup against Notre Dame this week.

Pitt is 42-32-3 all-time against Syracuse, dating back to an inaugural meeting in 1916 — a 30-0 victory in Syracuse.

Pitt has won 17 of the last 20 meetings, including four in a row dating back to 2018 and eight of the last nine dating back to 2013.

Kenny Pickett led Pitt to a 31-14 win over Syracuse last season at the JMA Wireless Dome, tossing four touchdowns in the win on the way to the ACC title.

Pitt has played more games against Syracuse all-time than any other school, aside from West Virginia and Penn State.

Pitt-Syracuse’s broadcast crew will be announced at a later date.

I doubt the O/U will be 137 with PITT favored by 15.
