For the second time in the last week, the Pitt Panthers have extended an offer to a player that’s already committed to a school in the ACC.
First it was 2023 3-star defensive back Dante Lovett, who’s currently committed to Virginia Tech and today, it’s a talented receiver from Massachusetts.

2023 3-star wideout Jaedn Skeete, from Catholic Memorial in West Roxbury, Massachusetts received an offer from Tiquan Underwood and the Panthers. Skeete is committed to play at Boston College.
This offer is interesting for a number of reasons. 1) Skeete has been committed to Boston College since August 5 of 2020, that’s over two years. 2) Skeete gave his commitment to Boston College while Frank Cignetti, Jr. was the offensive coordinator for BC. 3) Skeete plays at Catholic Memorial, the premier program in Massachusetts, who’s head coach is John DiBiaso, father of Pitt assistant quarterback coach Jonathan DiBiaso.
Skeete’s talents at wide receiver have been recognized as he received an invitation to play in the prestigious All-American Bowl on January 7 in San Antonio. This is the premiere postseason All-Star game for high school recruits and is televised on NBC
At the time of his commitment, Skeete cited playing close to home, Boston College was the first school to offer him and the fact that his mother is a graduate of Boston College as reasons for his decision.
Will the Pitt offer make him re-consider?
Pitt is obviously still in the market for wide receivers after having sophomore Jaden Bradley transfer and 2023 wide receiver Daidren Zipperer de-commit.
