Some encouraging recruiting news for Pitt as they’ll once again host one of the top recruits in the country.

2025 5-star wide receiver Jaime Ffrench Jr. will be at Acrisure Stadium this Saturday to check out the Pitt/Syracuse game on an unofficial visit.

This will be the second visit to Pittsburgh for Ffrench in the last few months, as he was in town at the end of July. Ffrench has developed a solid relationship with Pitt wide receivers coach Tiquan Underwood.

The native of Jacksonville, Florida is ranked by 247 Sports as one of the Top 40 sophomores in the country with offers from Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, Miami, Michigan, Mississippi State, Ohio State, Penn State, Tennessee, Texas A&M and West Virginia. Ffrench has made recent visits to Florida and Florida State.

Pitt is hoping to use their relationship with Jaime’s brother, Maurice, as part of their recruitment of this national star but know they have to do more than that to have any hopes to beat out some of the top schools in the country for Ffrench.

With him only being a sophomore, there’s plenty of left in his recruitment but getting him back to Pittsburgh for a Gameday visit can only be viewed as a positive and a nice job by Underwood.

Why in the HELL would he ever want to play in this offense. Bubble screens that don;t work and 4 yard outs.

I feel sorry for Coach Underwood. How does he convince anyone to commit to this program…”Come to Pitt and we’ll make you the best blocking wide receiver in the country!”

If you’re Underwood you sell the possibility of immediate playing time, because everybody else will be transferring out and then you hope he doesn’t meet with Cignetti.
