**Today, Pitt extends an offer to freshman quarterback Ryder Lyons from Folsom, California. Lyons (6’2”, 185) also holds early offers from BYU, Colorado and Utah.

Update (4:32 PM)-
**Pitt extends an offer today to 2026 quarterback Briggs Cherry (6’3″, 178) from Knoxville Catholic High School in Knoxville, Tennessee. This becomes the second Power Five offer (Ole Miss) for this freshman.

**Pitt football extended an offer on Friday to 2024 3-star quarterback Sam Kaiser from Columbia, Missouri. Kaiser (6’6”, 210) holds two other offers from Vanderbilt and Miami, Ohio. Last season, Kaiser completed 135 of 230 passes for over 1,700 yards and 22 touchdowns.
