4-Star DE/Central Florida Commit Sincere Edwards Visiting Pitt Today

Elite high school recruits continue to make their way to the Pitt football complex for unofficial visits.

On Monday, head coach Pat Narduzzi and assistant head coach/defensive line coach Charlie Partridge will host a top defensive lineman, who is already committed to another program.

2024 4-star defensive end Sincere Edwards, from Wekiva High School in Apopka, Fla., will be touring Pitt facilities and meeting with coaches for an unofficial visit.

Edwards (6-foot-3, 240 pounds) is currently committed to Central Florida (UCF) and has been so since August 10, 2022.

Rivals gave Edwards a 5.8 rating and ranked him as one of the Top 220 overall players in the Class of 2024. Along with Pitt and Central Florida, Edwards holds offers from Arkansas, Cincinnati, Colorado, Duke, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Iowa State, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Michigan State, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, NC State, Purdue, South Florida, Utah,

In his last two high school seasons, Edwards has registered 124 tackles, 39 for a loss and 27 sacks.

Pitt’s Class of 2024 currently has 10 members and has a Rivals.com Team Ranking of No. 8. Four of those 10 members are defensive lineman, which includes 3-star Zachary Crothers (Hollywood, Fla.), 3-star DT Francis Brewu (Worthington, Ohio), 3-star DE Ty Yuhas (Pittsburgh Central Catholic) and 4-star DT Jahsear Whittington (Philadelphia, Pa.).

If a Pitt commit reneges and signs elsewhere, we Pitt fans cant complain. Narduzzi tries to “ steal “ recruits too.

I agree but if the kid wants to flip to Pitt, they wont tell him no.
