The 6’0″ guard currently holds offers from Niagra, UW Milwaukee, Holy Cross and Elon.

The Phenom Report recently had this review of Nicholls.

Nicholls is an explosive guard (41’ vertical) that played with a ton of confidence. He is able to score the ball in a variety of ways, really attacks the lane and can get to the rim and uses his long wingspan (6’7) to finish around defenders or at the basket, but he also showed that he has confidence with his shot-making ability. Nicholls’ ability to get to his spots, be a playmaker with the ball in his hands, and be a leader on the court.  It is why we believe that this is a guard that should only see his recruitment take off after his year at Hargrave. One to really watch for.”

The Dukes currently have Dae Dae Grant and Kareem Rozier as point guards on the roster, so we’ll see what, if anything develops out of this situation.
