Pitt running back Taelen Brooks announced on Tuesday morning that he’ll be entering the NCAA Transfer Portal.
Brooks joined Pitt as a walk-on from Woodland Hills High School in February of 2021.
The redshirt freshman will have four years of eligibility remaining.
“Thank you to the University of Pittsburgh for the opportunity to further my academic and athletic career. After discussions with my family, I have decided to enter the transfer portal with 4 years of eligibility remaining.”
During his two years with the program, Brooks did not receive any carries at Pitt.
Following spring practice, Pitt’s running back depth chart is Rodney Hammond, C’Bo Flemister, Derrick Davis, Daniel Carter, Montravius Lloyd, TJ Harvison and Caleb Williams (walk-on).
