Central Catholic 3-Star LB Cole Sullivan Releases Five Finalists

Central Catholic 4-star Class of 2024 linebacker Cole Sullivan

Central Catholic 2024 3-star linebacker Cole Sullivan has made the decision to focus on just a handful of teams.

Sullivan’s recruitment skyrocketed at the start of 2023, as he picked up a number of Power Five offers and he’s announced that he’s down to just five teams.

The 6’3″, 200-pound outside linebacker has released a Top Five of Wisconsin, Michigan, Duke, Stanford and Notre Dame. Schools that offered him but didn’t make the cut include Pitt, Boston College, Cincinnati, Indiana, Iowa State, Louisville, Maryland, Michigan State, Northwestern, Oklahoma, Penn State, Syracuse, Utah, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.

Despite the strong relationship that Pitt shares with Central Catholic, their never seemed to be any traction between the two sides, Sullivan did make a couple unofficial visits to check out the Panthers.

Although it’s just a thought, Notre Dame would appear to be the team to watch in the pursuit of Sullivan.

Earlier this offseason, Central Catholic’s other talented junior linebacker, Anthony Speca committed to James Franklin and Penn State.

Looks like he’s weighting extra heavy on academic reputation (maybe not Wisconsin though). Another sad local star recruit loss for Pitt.
