Pitt Offers 2025 Baltimore Point Guard Tyler Jackson

When the direct contact period opened on June 15 at midnight, the Pitt staff reached out to over 25 recruits in the class of 2025.

The staff reached out to many of the top prospects in the class, including Tyler Jackson, a class of 2025 guard out of Baltimore.

Jackson plays high school ball for Saint Francis Academy in Baltimore, Maryland — the same school that Pitt freshman guard Carlton Carrington attended just last year. After hearing from Pitt, Jackson received a scholarship offer from the staff.

The 6-foot-1 point guard recently shined at EYBL Session IV in Memphis, averaging 30 points per game for Team Melo’s 16u squad.

The staff also contacted highly touted guards like Meleek Thomas, Danny Carbuccia, and others.

A four-star prospect according to Rivals, Jackson holds offers from Kansas, Alabama, Illinois, and many others, and now holds an offer from Jeff Capel and company. The only other guard to report an offer from Pitt from the 15th was Kiyan Anthony, the son of NBA star Carmelo Anthony.
