PITTSBURGH — The Cincinnati game isn’t quite in the rear-view mirror, but Pitt football is completely focused on the Backyard Brawl ahead. Saturday night is coming quickly, and there are lots of things to iron out.

Frank Cignetti Jr., M.J. Devonshire, Konata Mumpfield and Gavin Bartholomew spoke to the media after practice Wednesday about preparation for West Virginia, the Backyard Brawl and lingering Cincinnati thoughts.

I won’t listen to Cig, how many times did he declare he would lob the ball up down the sidelines hoping for a flag?

What a joke.Do you really think that Pitt will win this game in the hands of the same ole bums that have been running this program? No wonder the reason the recruiting portal is filled with players that want to get out from the fools that don’t want to win.I don’t understand the reason why Rodney Hammond,Jr has not left the program..He has consistently been blocked by the Duzz to not excel.

That’s a great point. Hammond has proven he’s an every down back for a team
