Highlands Forward Bradyn Foster Commits to Penn Basketball

Published

On Monday, one of the top forwards in WPIAL basketball committed to a division one program.

Bradyn Foster, a 6-foot-8 senior out of Highlands High School, committed to Penn.

Penn head coach Steve Donahue came to Highlands to visit Foster just weeks ago on September 28, and it appears that the visit certainly paid off. In addition to Penn, schools such as Lehigh, Fairfield, Holy Cross, Navy, Toledo, Miami OH, Davidson, and others were involved in Foster’s recruitment prior to his commitment.

“The decision wasn’t easy, but I chose Penn for many reasons,” Foster told PSN.” I liked their basketball culture, and I also really like the coaching staff and felt I had built great relationships with them. Of course, the education as well is amazing which played a big role, and I like the location of it being in Philadelphia.”

Foster landed his first offer in May 2023, and is now off the board as one of the top players in the WPIAL. Currently, several prospects from the WPIAL remain uncommitted with Division One offers. Some of those prospects are: Meleek Thomas, Virgil Hall, Courtney Wallace, Peja Strobl, and Scoop Smith.
