The Duquesne Football Team currently sits in first place as it will host Saint Francis Saturday afternoon for its homecoming game.

As part of that game, Duquesne will have a band present for the first time this season as the Dukes look to build momentum from a decisive 44-20 victory over Central Connecticut State.

It was a victory which saw wide receiver Tedy Afful and running back Taj Butts have career days. Both were named NEC Prime Performers with the latter being named offensive player of the week. Quarterback Darius Perrantes was also named a prime performer.

Following Thursday’s walkthrough, PSN’s Zachary Weiss spoke with coach Jerry Schmitt as well as wide receiver DJ Powell.
