The Pitt’s season is officially over following an embarrassing loss to a bad Wake Forest team.
After scoring a TD to take the lead late in the game and then getting what appeared to be a game-winning interception by MJ Devinshire, the Pitt defense allowed a late TD to a 3rd string quarterback.
Pitt’s season is effectively over.
Was there ANY angle that showed Veilleux sliding before the first down marker? What a horrible call by the refs. We shouldn’t have let it be close, but I didn’t realize Angel Hernandez did college football games too.
Narduzzi and Cignetti need to go. Cignetti calls the same plays over and over with no good results. Narduzzi instills zero discipline to his punk players. And how about the punter. Major college football and we get a 10 yard punt. Should have been benched but not arrogant Narduzzi. And 2 persona fouls by the same player on the same play. They won’t fire him though because the pay out would be to high thanks to the 10 year contract extension . She should go too.
Actually, yes. A yard before the first down, he had his knees out in front of him. Dude, this is the rule change caused by Kenny Pickett. It isn’t where the butt hits the ground, it’s where the deceleration starts. There are several pics floating around that show that the call was correct.

Discipline has always been a problem for Nards teams, it is unbelievably disgusting to lose because a player want to taunt and act tough, 30 yards of penalties by one guy on one play so a moron can act tough on camera. Inexcusable behavior that sets them up to get screwed with a bad call. How about we run up the middle on every 3rd and short thru the rest of the season? We might get one before it’s over. Everyone is going to talk about the refs but McMillon was being a punk and it costed Pitt. It won’t happen because today’s players are different but back in the day, there would be a senior putting McMillon up against a locker. Even if Pitt has to punt, Wake gets it around the 20 not the 50 at the end. Kids played their asses off. Everyone will talk about the slide but they should be talking about the drag and the taunt. I can’t stand punks.

The most shocking thing about this loss was the total lack of discipline and self control by the players. Number3# had two personal foul penalties on the same play. The players were celebrating on the the sidelines with 2 minutes left in the game. And they lost. Whats going on?

I don’t understand the Corner press approach on 3rd and 25. It resulted in a CB grabbing a WR giving Wake a first down on an incompletion. We knocked the crap out of them the two plays before, relax and give up 12 to 18 yards under and force a Punt.
That’s all Narduzzi has in the defensive playbook. Remember, he’s a genius and you’re not, just ask him he will tell you.
I’d rather win games than worry about Coach Junko not being upset that his grandson got benched.
They Ran off two Other Punters and Cam Guess did not even warm up for comparison. Junko was hitting Punts in warm ups that look as bad as Phil J.’s passes. Nothing was spiraling and turning over. It was not windy either.
