Twitter Reaction To Pitt’s Opening Night Slaughtering of NC A&T

Published

on

It’s only one game and it was against a bad opponent, but the bottom line is that the Pitt men’s basketball team got their fan base very excited tonight.

The Panthers didn’t play down to their opposition, instead showed athleticism, quickness and scoring ability that we haven’t seen in many years.

It would be unfair to focus on just one player because every single player on the roster showed something, but everyone will be talking about freshman point guard Carlton Carrington, who finished with 18 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists.

It goes without saying, fans are very excited for the 2023-24 Pitt Panthers.

I’m beginning to see why keeping Coach and his staff for that extra year and not firing him was a good move…
