PITTSBURGH – Pitt took care of business on Monday night, advancing to 3-0 on the year with a win over Florida Gulf Coast of the ASun Conference.
The Panthers looked to Bub Carrington, Blake Hinson, and Ishmael Leggett for production in the win, with Carrington finishing as the scoring leader with 19 points and Hinson also adding 18 points. Leggett posted a 17-point, 7-rebound stat line and in addition, Jaland Lowe contributed 12 points for the Panthers.
Will Jeffress also played 21 minutes in the victory, scoring two points in the win and grabbing five boards.
