A small slate of college basketball tonight for our viewing consumption. While we do have a Top 10 clash in the Big Ten tonight, we turn to a Big East battle for our Winning Pick tonight.
After winning the National Championship last season, UConn has settled back into being one of the top programs in college basketball again. It is always good for college hoops when UConn is good. Some Pitt fans might disagree with me given their old rivalry, but it is always good for the sport when one of the blue blood programs is thriving.
They face a Butler team that has played a lot better than previous seasons. This is the lowest spread in this matchup over the last 5 games between these two teams, which all had UConn favored and that the Huskies covered as well. Despite the slight resurgence of the Bulldogs, I like UConn to cover tonight in Indianapolis.

Detroit Pistons at Golden State Warriors (-10) O/U 239 10:00 PM
Two teams experiencing a recent heartbreak clash in San Francisco Friday Night. The Warriors let a double digit lead fall apart versus the defending champion Denver Nuggets last night, falling at the gun on a Jokic game winner from close to half court.
Detroit was able to finally win a game last Saturday, but they are still riding a long road losing streak, losing their last 16 on the road coming into tonight’s game. Golden State is still without Draymond Green, could the Pistons take advantage of that big missing piece for the Warriors?
I am going to say they won’t. Golden State takes out their anger on the Pistons and blows them out, covering the double digit spread in the process.

Winnipeg Jets (-185) at Anaheim Ducks O/U 6 10:00 PM on ESPN+
Two teams headed in opposite directions face off as the Jets of Winnipeg visit the Ducks of Anaheim. The Jets have been one of the better teams out of the Western Conference this year and especially on the road. Winnipeg is currently 11-4 away from home this year, which is the second best mark in the west.
The Ducks are still a bad hockey team. They are not as bad as the San Jose Sharks, who the Jets defeated 2-1 in their previous game, but they will more than likely be picking again in the top 5 of the NHL Draft this year.
The Jets are a team that just wants to win by whatever means, whether that be scoring only a few goals or blowing a team out. I expect a griddy game by both of these teams and the total to fly way under.
