Twitter Reaction to Pitt’s Win Over Virginia, Best Game of Season

Up until tonight, the national media has mentioned the Pitt Panthers as a possible NCAA Tournament team but if they keep playing like they are right now, Jeff Capel’s team is going to force their way into the conversation.

In arguably their most impressive game of the season, Pitt ends Virginia’s 23-game home win streak and get over .500 in the ACC.

The Panthers have now won four straight games and 6 of their last 7.

Jeff Capel has now made Pitt nationally relevant for the second consecutive season.

That’s the 2nd-highest PPP by an ACC team in a game at Virginia under Tony Bennett, out of 132 games.
