All that needs to be said tonight is Blake Hinson.
Hinson turned in the best performance of his college career and one of the best by a Pitt Panther in many years as he scored a career-high 41 points.
More importantly, Pitt wins their 17th game of the season, they’re two games over .500 in the ACC and the Panthers have won 5 games in a row.
Hinson was sick
He had 27 in the 1st half and I thought that might have been some sort of scoring record for one half. But then I saw Jamel Artis had 43 against the same Louisville back in 2017 and I think he could have scored 30+ in the 2nd half of that game, but it was in a loss.
And Don Hennon, couldn’t find a box score for his 45 vs Duke back in 1958 or so.
