Tuesday’s Best Draftkings Bets: 76ers-Knicks, Avalanche-Jets, Pirates-A’s
After a couple positive days for the Winning Picks, we took one on the chin on Monday night finishing 1-2. The Stars were able to pick up our lone win as they defeated the Golden Knights to tie their series 2-2. After scoring in the top of the first inning, the Pirates fell flat and lost to the A’s. The Nuggets were able to beat the Lakers but could not cover the spread. We moved to 266-217-3 on the year.
Back in February on the Winning Picks, I gave out both Julio Rodriguez at +1300 and Bobby Witt Jr at +2000 to win AL MVP. Through the first month of the season, the Witt bet is looking much stronger than the Rodriguez. Witt Jr is now down to +400 on Draftkings to win the MVP award, trailing only the Yankee’s Juan Soto who is at +300.
Julio Rodriguez, on the other hand, has gone in reverse with his odds moving to +2500 after a slow start to the season. It is still very early on, and Rodriguez could recover and have a monster rest of the season. Another guy not mentioned to keep an eye out for is former AL MVP Mike Trout. The Angels outfielder is down to +850 and could be in line to win another MVP if he stays healthy, but that has been a big IF over the last several seasons.

Is the bell finally tolling on the 76ers contention window? That window could close tonight as Philadelphia tries to stave off elimination against the New York Knicks. And with the way Jalen Brunson has been playing, it could be curtains for the 76ers.
And who would’ve ever thought Jalen Brunson would be this good in the NBA? He was a second round pick out of Villanova to the Mavericks, which was the same class where they swapped picks to get Luka Dončić in the first round. When the Knicks signed Brunson to a big deal, people were losing their minds of how bad it was. Now, the deal is a bargain, and it pays off tonight with the Knicks covering. They move on and await Indiana/Milwaukee

After dropping Game 1 of this series, Colorado has won 3 straight as they put the Jets on the breaking point of elimination as the series heads back for Game 5 in Winnipeg. The Jets have not been able to keep up with the offensive firepower of the Avalanche, who have scored at least 5 goals in every game of this series.
Winnipeg will have to go for broke tonight if they want this series to continue. I don’t believe it will go on past tonight, however, but I do like a lot of goals to be scored. You will even finally get some goals from the Jets, but the Avalanche move on in a high scoring contest.

The Pirates could not muster much offense last night in front of less than 4,000 people at the Oakland Coliseum last night. This offense has been having the California blues long before they headed out for their Bay Area road trip. Will things get better tonight?
Mitch Keller will face the struggling Alex Wood tonight on the mound. Keller has pitched a lot better with Joey Bart behind the plate, so you should see another good start tonight from him. I think the Pirates get enough offense tonight in Oakland and pick up the win.
