PITTSBURGH –Pitt football head coach Pat Narduzzi met with the media Thursday afternoon on the South Side for his final media briefing before the Panthers’ matchup with Virginia.
Pitt sits at 7-1 overall, 3-1 in the ACC and ranked No. 18 in the initial College Football Playoff rankings.
Narduzzi touched on his team’s practice efforts this week in response to the loss at SMU, including the work that redshirt freshman quarterback Eli Holstein has put in. Narduzzi has mentioned how defenses have adjusted over the past few games against Holstein and the offense and in turn, the tenth-year head coach noted how Pitt has to get its offense to adapt.
Virginia (4-4) boasts a dual-threat quarterback in Anthony Colandrea. Narduzzi gave his thoughts on the Cavalier signal caller and the weapons that he has around him.
