Bright Commits To Pitt

The only thing surprising about Pitt’s latest commitment was the timing of it. Alabama linebacker Cam Bright just made it official that he’s given a verbal commitment to Pat Narduzzi and Pitt.

The fact that made it official today wasn’t the original plan. Bright told me yesterday that after his visit today, he’d make a trip to both Bowling Green and Miami, Ohio before committing to Pitt, possibly on Wednesday.

“After hearing all the good feedback after the camp on my work ethic and athletic ability, the coaches wanted me even more”, said Bright. “And I felt wanted, so that really pushed me to the commitment today. And I will no longer be taking the visits.”

Bright becomes Pitt’s 5th commitment for the Class of 2017 and fourth on the defensive side of the ball (Paris Ford, Exree Loe, Kyle Nunn). Bright joins Nunn as the second linebacker in this recruiting class.
