It’s hard to believe this but there’s a chance that the Pitt/Penn State game could be getting a lot bigger.
Sources tell PSN that over the last week, officials from both ESPN and Pitt have been meeting and will continue to do so about ESPN’s popular GameDay Pregame show broadcasting live from Heinz Field on September 10th.
This is a revision to what I previously wrote because I might have been a bit too hasty with certain information. My source on this is someone that I’ve relied on for a bunch of previous stuff.
ESPN and Pitt are still in negotiations about this. This will apparently come down to Pitt/Penn State or Virginia Tech/Tennessee, who are pushing hard for this game.
I’m told by another source that a decision on this will come next week.
