The ACC has released the 2016-17 men’s basketball schedule and the Panthers will be challenged early, to say the least.
The Kevin Stallings era will get started off with a bang as the Panthers host Notre Dame on New Year’s Eve. That’s part of a killer early-season schedule that also has Virginia and Miami coming to the Petersen Events Center along with trips to Syracuse and Louisville.
Pitt will have another tough stretch starting Jan. 31 when they’ll go on the road for three straight games to North Carolina, Duke and Boston College.
The season will finish with another tough road trip to Georgia Tech and Virginia.
Other marquee home games are Louisville on Jan. 24, Syracuse on Feb. 11 and North Carolina on Feb. 25.
