After a trying month in which the Panthers saw four transfers (Cameron Johnson, Corey Manigault, Damon Wilson Jr. and Crisshawn Clark) and a dismissal (Justice Kithcart), Kevin Stallings and Pitt are in the process now of possibly adding a player to the roster.
According to Jon Rothstein, Longwood transfer Khris Lane will be visiting Pitt this coming weekend.
Lane will be a graduate transfer and will have one year remaining and will be eligible immediately.
The 6-6 forward averaged 17.1 PPG and 7.3 rebounds last season for Longwood. Lane was a 34% 3-point shooter and shot 54% from the floor.
After visiting Pitt, Lane will reportedly visit Rhode Island next weekend.
Lane would be a welcome addition to Pitt’s front court bringing them experience and the ability to score.
