Virginia running back Coleton Beck announced his list of top five schools today and not surprisingly Pitt made his cut.

Beck told Pittsburgh Sports Now that his Final Five team’s (in no order) are: Pitt, Virginia, Louisville, East Carolina and North Carolina.

“The reason I picked these five schools are that these are programs that I’ve always liked and wanted to play at. Also, the coaches at these schools all made me feel like home when I visited them,” said Beck.

However, Louisville is the one school that I’ve yet to visit yet but it’s a school that I can see myself playing at.”

What’s on tap for Beck for the rest of the summer before school starts back up?

“I want to try to visit Louisville next month since I haven’t been there yet. Hopefully that can work out but I don’t have a date for that because of the dead period and I just started football back up at my school and I’m pretty busy,” said Beck.

“Plus, whatever school I might be deciding on, I’d like to go and visit time again before making a decision.”

What’s the timeframe for Beck to make his decision?

“I’m in no rush but I wouldn’t mind getting it over with and be committed to the school that I’m going to play football at.”
