**Tonight Josh Conklin and John Peterson had an in-home visit with highly talented Ohio defensive tackle Tyler Bentley, who’s currently committed to Kentucky. Tomorrow, Bentley will make an official visit to Pitt. I think Pitt has a serious chance to flip Bentley. Keep in mind, this kid was offered by Alabama, Florida, Wisconsin and LSU before committing to Kentucky. Big-time talent.

UPDATE (2:23 PM)-

**The task of Pitt trying to land Arizona Western C.C. OT Jahmir Johnson just got more difficult as he picked up an offer from Texas this afternoon. Pitt visited him on Monday and offered him. Stay tuned.

UPDATE (1:55 PM)-

**Former Gateway star safety Jaquan Brisker picked up an offer today from Penn State. Pitt offered Brisker a couple weeks ago so this could be shaping up as a battle between Pitt and Penn State. Brisker is currently playing at Lackawanna C.C.

UPDATE (8:51 AM)-

**Pitt was in early to see an elite junior prospect from Florida. Rob Harley just left making a visit to 2019 offensive guard Will Putnam from Tampa, Florida. Putnam is a player Pitt has been pursuing since offering him as a sophomore but they have major competition to try and land him.

UPDATE (7:27 AM)-

**A source tells PSN that Josh Conklin was at Deerfield Beach HS (Florida) yesterday checking on a bunch of junior and sophomore recruits. I’m told that Conklin was there for 2019 players Gemon Eaford & Dontae Barton. 2020 prospects Deajaun McDougle, Jaylan Knighton, Bryce Gowdy, Derohn King. Coaches aren’t permitted to personally speak with juniors and sophomores at this time.

UPDATE (7:19 AM)-

**Late last night, PSN’s Harry Psaros first reported that following his visit with Pat Narduzzi, Butler C.C. (Kansas) RB Kevon Abrams will make an official visit to Pitt the weekend of December 8. Abrams played high school football in Florida. Pitt looks to be in good shape with him.
