Over the weekend, Pitt hosted two very talented wide receivers from the state of Florida.

Jeshaun Jones and Shocky Jacques-Louis, both from Fort Myers, made official visits to Pitt.

Jacques-Louis (6-1, 175) is a skilled receiver with a long list of offers that includes Michigan, Michigan State, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, Louisville, Oregon, Ohio State and South Carolina.

Jacques-Louis was committed to Tennessee but has since de-committed and is seriously considering Pat Narduzzi’s program.

This evening, PSN caught up with Jacques-Louis to get his take on his visit to Pittsburgh.

What was the biggest thing he took from his visit ?

“Most definitely the family feeling that I felt from each and everyone of the coaches. I can just tell the way they talked with me. They didn’t lie to me about me being a superstar receiver. They told me when I get there that I’d have to work for everything. I just liked that because I’m all about honesty and I could tell they’re honest people,” said Jacques-Louis.

“I definitely feel like a priority for them as a possible future receiver for them by the way they’re recruiting me.”

Following his visit, Jacques-Louis tweeted this about Pitt assistant Director of Player Personnel Da’Vell Winters and I asked him to explain.

“Him and I just hit it off from the start. He was the one that picked me up from the airport and I enjoyed our conversations. I just felt like I could relate and talk with him.”

Another person that the Florida native was able to talk with was the best wide receiver in the NFL, the Steelers Antonio Brown.

“That was great to be able to meet and talk with him. While talking, I even asked him for advice on a route technique and he gave me advice. Just looking at him reminded me that although he was from Central Michigan, you can achieve your goals and dreams with hard work,” said Jacques-Louis.

With the departures of Jester Weah (graduation) and Quadree Henderson (NFL Draft), an opportunity certainly exists for Jacques-Louis and other young receivers.

He tells me that he’s done making official visits and will announce his decision on National Signing Day (December 20).
