**PSN has been told that Rob Harley is in Michigan today talking with a talented linebacker from Detroit Country Day HS. Kolin Demens (6-0, 210) is a 247 Sports recruit that recently de-committed from UCLA after the firing of Jim Mora. From what I’ve been told, Pitt has contacted Demens daily since decommitting from the Bruins. Demens holds offers from Michigan, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Maryland and Nebraska. Demens is the type of linebacker Pitt is trying to add to this year’s class.

UPDATE (11:20 AM) by Alan Saunders-

**It’s a two-for-one at Malvern Prep, as Pitt has also extended an offer to 2019 LB Keith Maguire, in addition to 2019 OT Jake Hornibrook (below).

The coaching staff has been doing this frequently with underclassmen recently. Defensive line coach Charlie Partridge offered several underclassmen each from some Florida prep schools last week. Now, defensive coordinator Josh Conklin is working in Eastern Pa.

Maguire is listed at 6-foot-2, 215 pounds and projects to be an inside linebacker, according to 247 Sports. He also has offers from Army, Baylor, Duke, North Carolina, Temple, Vanderbilt, Virginia and West Virginia.

UPDATE (10:34 AM) by Alan Saunders-

**Pitt defensive coordinator Josh Conklin is in Eastern Pennsylvania today and he has offered a scholarship to 2019 Malvern Prep offensive lineman Jake Hornibrook.

Hornibrook is the younger brother of current Wisconsin quarterback and former Pitt commit Alex Hornibrook. The younger Hornibrook is a 6-foot-4, 258-pound tackle. He holds offers from Baylor, Duke, Syracuse, Temple, Vanderbilt and Virginia.

Alex Hornibrook had committed to play at Pitt under Paul Chryst and de-committed after Chryst left the program to take the head coaching job at Wisconsin. He’s thrown for 2,836 yards and 21 touchdowns for the Badgers so far this season as a redshirt sophomore.

UPDATE (8:50 AM)-

**Just spoke with a talented prospect that tells me he’s scheduled to meet with Rob Harley today. I’m sure Harley is working to get an official visit from this player. I’ll give you the name of the player after the visit. Hoping to have a complete story on him later today.

UPDATE (7:08 AM)-

UPDATE (6:58 AM)-

**Last night, Pitt 2018 offensive tackle commit Chase Brown received an offer from Tennessee. Brown has told me multiple times that his recruitment is over and that he’s 100% committed to Pitt so this offer shouldn’t be a worry to anyone.
