Pat Narduzzi’s team is getting another official visit from a star athlete from Florida.
3-star cornerback Tiawan Mullen from Coconut Creek High School in Pompano Beach, Florida announced last night that Pitt was one of his five finalists.
Mullen (5-foot-10, 160 pounds) had over 20+ scholarship offers but reduced that list down to Pitt, TCU, Nebraska, Ole Miss and Indiana. He also held offers from schools such as Louisville, Michigan State, Mississippi State and Kentucky.
Following his announcement on Twitter, PSN talked with Mullen who told us that he will be making an official visit to Pitt the weekend of June 15.
Pitt places a heavy emphasis on recruiting Florida and it’s paying dividends in terms of getting talented kids on campus.
