Andy Toole is looking to add a grad transfer guard to his 2019-20 roster.

Pittsburgh Sports Now has been able to confirm a tweet from CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein that said Robert Morris had interest in UMass guard Curtis Cobb III.

In fact, PSN has learned that Cobb (6-foot-4, 195 pounds) is scheduled to make a visit to Robert Morris next weekend. Cobb is graduating from UMass and will be eligible immediately next season.

“I like the coaching staff there (Robert Morris) and the interest they have in their players,” Cobb told PSN. “I’m going to visit them from the 18th-20th. I’m also considering Wagner and Portland and other schools but those are the main three.”

Last season for UMass, Cobb averaged 8.4 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game.

Coming out of high school, Cobb signed and played two years at Fairfield before transferring to UMass. At Fairfield, he averaged 10.8 and 12.1 points per game. In fact, Cobb set a Metro Atlantic Athletic conference record by scoring 46 points in a game against Manhattan.

After getting commitments from two Top 50 JUCO players, Robert Morris still wants to add a guard with experience and Cobb fits that profile and would bring them a long player with a high basketball IQ and D-I experience.
