Once again, Andy Toole will keep us his tradition of having his team play a challenging non-conference schedule.
Today, Robert Morris released its men’s basketball schedule, which includes trips to Marquette, Notre Dame and UNLV.
The Colonials start the season by participating in 2019 Men’s Against Breast Cancer Invitational. The four-team tournament will give Robert Morris games at Marshall (Nov. 7), at Notre Dame (Nov. 9), at Toledo (Nov. 16) and a neutral-court game against Howard on Nov. 15 at John F. Savage Arena in Toledo, Ohio.
Other non-conference road games include UIC (Nov. 21), Marquette (Nov. 23), Cleveland State (Nov. 30), Youngstown State (Dec. 4), Florida Gulf Coast (Dec. 7) and UNLV (Dec. 21).
Of course, the marquee game on the Colonials schedule is on Nov, 12 when they open up their new arena, the UPMC Events Center, by hosting Pitt. Robert Morris will also host Geneva (Nov. 27) and Central Michigan (Dec. 17).
Robert Morris will be playing Notre Dame, UIC, Marquette, Geneva, Florida Gulf Coast and UNLV for the first time.
