It’s been a busy yet productive last couple of days in Arizona for Keith Dambrot.

Dambrot went out to go see 2020 forward Andre Harris, who’s a top target for the Dukes. He also extended offers to two players including a highly rated junior.

2021 4-star shooting guard Joshua Primo (6’4”, 170) from Compass Prep School in Chandler, Arizona received a Dukes offer. Primo is rated as one of the Top 50 juniors and one of Top 10 shooting guards in the country.

Primo holds offers from Alabama, California, Ohio State, TCU and Creighton.

The other offer from Duquesne went to 6’11”, 230 center Carson Basham from Phoenix, Arizona.

At this point, Basham holds offers from Pepperdine, Washington State, TCU, Montana, Loyola Marymount, Northern Arizona, UC Santa Barbara.

“I’ve spoken with the Duquesne coaches before when they came to see me at the NCAA camp out here and they also attended an open workout at my high school,” Basham told Pittsburgh Sports Now. “Then told after the workout, they offered me.”

”They told me they liked my skill level and how I’m able to move the ball. I’m a stretch forward in high school and have developed a good outside game. My coaches have really helped me a lot. What I think is going to help me get to the next level is my athleticism.”

While this isn’t Basham’s first offer, it is his first one from an east coast school which is something that stood out to him.

”I like that a lot and in the end, I want to go to a school that really likes me and I’d like to get out to visit some East coast schools and get the vibe so I can experience them too,” said Basham.

“I like the Duquesne coaching staff a lot actually. They’re super cool to talk to and very good at communicating, letting me know when they’re going to be there, how they’re recruiting and what they like about my game. I just like them a lot.”
