PITTSBURGH — “They’re a big physical team and really dominated inside: dominated the paint, offensive rebounds and really made it difficult for us to score around the basket.”
That was Pitt head coach Jeff Capel, slightly understating the difficulty his team had with West Virginia in the Backyard Brawl at Petersen Events Center on Friday.
The Panthers shot just 12 percent from the floor in the second half as they fell, 68-53 to the Mountaineers.
Hear from Capel, Ryan Murphy and Justin Champagnie about what went wrong and from WVU head coach Bob Huggins on the future of the series.
