Pitt cornerback Jason Pinnock has some extra weight on his shoulders in 2020. The Connecticut native made nine starts across the 2018 and 2019 seasons, while earning nearly a share of playing time at cornerback.
This season, with the graduation of Dane Jackson, Pinnock was already expected to step up into a larger role for the Panthers. When fellow returning starter Damarri Mathis went down with a season-ending injury, even more responsibilities were placed on the shoulders of the 6-foot senior.
