PITTSBURGH — Pitt will have three players that are not in attendance for Saturday’s game against Syracuse at Heinz Field due to COVID-19 protocols.

The Panthers have seven players that did not dress for COVID-19 protocols, including starting defensive linemen Keyshon Camp and Rashad Weaver.

Both Camp and Weaver warmed up and appear to be ready to start against Syracuse.

Cornerback Hunter Sellers, defensive end Emmanuel Belgrave and wide receiver Tre Tipton were among the players that did not appear to be in attendance for the team’s warmups.

On the injury front, tight end Lucas Krull warmed up and appears set to return from the undisclosed injury that held him out of the Austin Peay game.

Defensive end Habakkuk Baldonado (lower body) and wide receiver/linebacker Solomon DeShields (undisclosed) did not warm up after leaving the Austin Peay game with injuries.

Wide receiver Taysir Mack is in attendance, but did not warm up and it appears he will miss his second straight game with an undisclosed injury.

Other Pitt inactive players are linebacker Leslie Smith (lower body), offensive lineman Matt Altsman (undisclosed) Michael Statham (undisclosed) and defensive lineman Bryce Nelms (undisclosed, non-football injury).

The interception was thrown into coverage. Some passes too high or too hot, But the TD passes were perfect. There are so many new receivers and there is little time left to get it together.
D was excellent and but for one play, they saved our buts.
